Our Story

To understand who we are today, it helps to know how we got here. In 2010, our founder, Tim Washburn, opened a computer repair shop in Fort Collins called Computer Doctors.

His goal was to address an unmet need: providing competent, honest, and affordable repairs to retail customers. By 2012, retail customers were asking Computer Doctors to service their small business IT needs. Despite this not being a service they even offered, demand grew quickly, and within a few years, small business IT made up half the business. However, it became clear that serving both home users and small businesses under one roof wasn’t sustainable.

Recognizing the need for separate focuses, Computer Doctors split in 2016, and the business IT side became Integrity Technologies. Computer Doctors was later sold by Tim in 2023. Integrity Technologies initially offered what we now call “Legacy Managed IT Services” and private data hosting in our data center.

But in 2020 the world changed and did the way we all did business, as hackers increasingly targeted vulnerabilities in remote work setups, we knew it was time to pivot. By 2021, ransomware attacks had grown 10.7x year over year, and we had to draw a line in the sand: we transformed into a “cyber-first” IT provider. Today, we guide our clients through a 3 step process: identifying, mitigating, and proactively managing their cyber risk—all while delivering world-class, never-outsourced local IT support.

While we work with a broad range of industries, we specialize in those facing the highest risks: Accounting and CPA firms, legal practices, financial and wealth management firms, and small medical practices.
